Venture Atlanta 2019 Issues Call for Presenting & Showcase Companies from Across the Southeast

The two-day conference connects the region’s top emerging tech companies with hundreds of investors, partners, and customers to raise capital and drive growth.

[ATLANTA, GA – May 15, 2019] – Venture Atlanta, the premier venture capital conference in the Southeast, today announced that it is now accepting company applications for its 2019 conference. The organization is seeking early to growth stage companies from Texas to D.C. to present at its annual event. To date, Venture Atlanta companies have collectively raised over $4 billion and garnered over $14 billion in exits, and your company could be next.

“This year I’m hoping to see even more representation from cities outside of Atlanta,” says Paul Iaffaldano, BIP Capital Chief Investment Officer and Venture Atlanta Board Member. “We’re also anticipating more growth-stage companies than ever before. This isn’t just a pitch event for startups — it’s a chance for companies at any stage looking to raise money to connect with the hundreds of investors who will be in attendance.”

Past companies have made connections with attendees who went on to become investors, partners, mentors, customers, employees and more for their businesses. Additionally, the companies selected will join an elite group of alumni companies. Venture Atlanta’s Alumni Hall of Fame includes Pardot, Silverpop, BitPay, Kabbage, SalesLoft, Pindrop Security, Parkmobile, Cloud Sherpas, Clearleap, Car360, Ionic Security, and more.

“I always tell entrepreneurs there is nothing to lose by applying, only gain,” commented Allyson Eman, Venture Atlanta Executive Director. “There’s no cost to apply, and there’s no cost if your company is selected — you will even have a committee of investors reading your executive summary directly. And for our presenting companies, we have a team of investors and business leaders who provide coaching to help you polish your pitch so you can feel confident when you take the stage. Bottom line, there should be nothing holding you back from at least submitting an application.”

Venture Atlanta 2019 will take place October 16-17 at the Southern Exchange, located at 200 Peachtree in the heart of downtown Atlanta. There are two opportunities for companies to gain exposure to the 300+ investors who are expected to attend:

Presenting Companies

These companies will deliver a pitch on the VA stage. Presenting companies also receive coaching ahead of the event, access to exclusive events, and ongoing coverage by the Venture Atlanta marketing and PR teams.

Showcase Companies

These companies will have a dedicated presentation space in the main hall during the event’s official cocktail party — prime time for networking. Showcase companies also receive ongoing coverage by the Venture Atlanta marketing and PR teams.

How to Apply

Early stage and high-growth technology companies in the Southeast that are looking to raise capital in the next 12 to 18 months are encouraged to apply.
