Kelly Gay is the chief operating officer of Numerex Corp. (NASDAQ: NMRX), a leading provider of
managed enterprise solutions enabling the Internet of Things (IoT). She was previously the president of Security Solutions at Numerex, where she led the introduction of new offerings in existing businesses, the acceleration of revenue growth, the expansion of strategic partnerships, and the launch of a new personal tracking line of business. Kelly was recognized for these results with The Indus Entrepreneurs’ inaugural Atlanta Top Entrepreneur and IoT Now’s first Top Women of IoT. Kelly is the former president and chief executive officer of Omnilink Systems, which was acquired in 2014 by Numerex Corp. She led Omnilink Systems to sustained revenue growth, diversification beyond governmental services into enterprise and consumer offerings, and financial strength and stability. Kelly was recognized for these accomplishments with Connected World’s inaugural Top Women of M2M and Pathbuilders’ first Inspiria Award winner.

Kelly is the past chairman, chief executive officer, and president of KnowledgeStorm, a top-ranked
online marketing services company providing search, lead generation, and branding to the
technology industry. Kelly led KnowledgeStorm from startup to acquisition by TechTarget (NASDAQ: TTGT) in 2007. The company was recognized for its results with rankings such as Inc.’s Inc. 500, the Deloitte Technology Fast 500, BtoB’s Media Power 50, and Software Magazine’s Software 500.

Prior to joining KnowledgeStorm, Kelly led IBM in the media, entertainment, advertising, sports,
music, publishing, broadcast, and cable markets as vice president of IBM’s North American Media and Entertainment division. Under her leadership, this division grew to $1.2 billion in annual sales, with 18% annual growth over a three-year period.

Kelly has been named to the BtoB Media Business Who’s Who 100 in Business Publishing and
Catalyst’s Top 25 Atlanta Entrepreneurs. She was also chosen by Catalyst as one of Atlanta’s Top Entrepreneurs for four consecutive years. She was spotlighted in Atlanta Woman as a Leader to Watch and the Atlanta Business Chronicle in the annual Who’s Who in Technology numerous times. Kelly was also honored with the Atlanta Women’s Foundation Shining Star for her leadership in the technology industry.

Kelly currently serves on the boards of directors of 1105 Media, where she is the lead digital
marketing director, and OnBoard, where she chairs the governance committee and is a past
chairman of the organization. She was recently appointed to the governing board of the Advanced
Technology Development Center, named by Forbes as one of the Incubators Changing the World.
Kelly was appointed by Governors Barnes, Perdue, and Deal to the board of the Georgia Department of Driver Services, where she was the founding chairman. She is the past chairman of the 35,000+ member Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), where she served on the board for ten years, and continues to serve the organization on the governing TAG finance committee. Prior board service also includes Omnilink Systems, KnowledgeStorm, Ashworth, ReachForce, Hands on Atlanta, and Bank of Atlanta (acquired by State Bank, NASDAQ: STBZ).

Kelly is a magna cum laude graduate of Tulane University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. She was the first Newcomb College recipient in the school’s history to receive the Murphy Prize in
Political Economy, awarded by the Murphy Institute.
