Solid State Newsletter – May 2011
Welcome to the inaugural issue of “Solid State,” Venture Atlanta’s monthly newsletter featuring intriguing Georgia technology start-ups, entrepreneurs and the ecosystem that supports them. Solid State serves as a complement to our blog Cache and will explore companies, issues and trends in a longer format.
The editorial sections include “Sparks” which spotlights Georgia-based start-ups, the “Money Bin” focuses on developments in the investor community and advice for start-up entrepreneurs and “Noteworthy” explores the established and emerging technology clusters in Georgia as well as the trends and partnerships that impact the start-up and funding environment. Finally, in “Overheard” the editorial team scours the Twittersphere and industry events to bring you the month’s quotable quote. But not to worry, quotes are always anonymous.
We welcome your story ideas, news tips and “Overheard” suggestions at editor@ventureatlanta.org. Your feedback is also always welcome at the same email address.
