Dating back to 2002, Venture Atlanta and its earlier iterations have assisted companies in raising just shy of $900M. This year we received a record number of company applications, up 45% from 2010, which confirmed our plan to enhance this year’s program.
We have made a number of enhancements to Venture Atlanta this year. Most significant among them are:
Expanded Format – Spanning 2 days featuring 40 presenting companies (double 2010)
- Day 1 (10/25) is “Early Stage Showcase” focusing on companies relevant to angel-stage investors
- Day 2 (10/26) is “Venture Spotlight” showcasing companies relevant to institutional venture investors
